Founded in 2018, The Big Hug Box is a registered not for profit charity based in Newcastle. Our mission is to help ease the uncertainty and emotions that the patient and those around them feel when they hear the word cancer, a word too many Australians are hearing each and every day. With all profits from sales donated to vital cancer research, wellness and support groups. The Big Hug Box helps patients now through our care packages, supports the cancer community to continue to strengthen support services for those with cancer, and through by helping those diagnosed in the future, by funding vital cancer research. 

At The Big Hug Box we pride ourselves on delivering purposeful and high-quality cancer care packs that provide a unique and practical gifting option for customers and the community. Since our first year of operations, these values have seen us become a product leader in the market. Our Big Hug Boxes are unique in that we have collaborated carefully with oncologists, specialists, nurses and patients to select products that serve the purpose to uplift and provide comfort to anyone who is facing a cancer diagnosis or treatment. The design of our boxes has also been thoughtfully considered, to ensure the experience of opening a Big Hug Box is something very special for each and every recipient.
